Reporting
How a marketing agency got its account managers out of weekly client reports.
Client
Timeline
1-week audit, 3-week build
Tools
Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Google Sheets, Slack

The problem
Every Monday, each account manager spent the morning exporting numbers from five ad and analytics tools into client reports.
The reports looked slightly different every week, formulas broke whenever a platform changed its export, and the written summary was usually rushed because the copying took so long.
What we built
An automation that pulls every client's numbers on Sunday night and builds the same report each week.
An agent drafts a short summary of what changed and why it might matter. The account manager reads it, adds the context only they know and sends it. Anything that looks wrong, like a sudden drop to zero, is flagged first.
Before
Log in to five tools → export CSVs → paste into the sheet → fix broken formulas → write the summary → send. Half a day per account manager.
After
Numbers pulled overnight → report built automatically → summary drafted → account manager reviews and sends. About twenty minutes.
Hours back per week
Client reports automated
Paid back in
“Monday used to be report day. Now the reports are waiting when we log in, and we spend the time actually talking to clients about them.”
